On Sunday, March 23, 2003, Marin Breast Cancer Watch has been selected to present the New Chamber Orchestra in association with the Osher Marin JCC. This Grammy-nominated, conductorless string orchestra "transforms the musical experience beyond traditional performance into an emotional bridge between players and audience. Understanding Breast Cancer:
An Introduction to Epidemiology Workshop

Monday, February 24, 2023 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm

Have You Ever Wondered:

  • Why research results sometimes seem inconclusive or conflicting?
  • Why the research process takes so long?
  • What degree of certainty is needed to reach a conclusion?
  • Why different research designs answer different questions?
  • How communities and individuals can participate in research?
Answer These Questions and More
Attend a community workshop with leading scientists and researchers. Learn the basic concepts of breast cancer epidemiology.

Current Marin breast cancer studies will be used to look at descriptive and analytic epidemiology, study designs, casual inference, research methods and how to formulate research questions.
