Dipsea Hike/Run Information

Course Information:
Check-in: 7:30-8:30 am at Old Mill Park, Mill Valley
Start: Runners: 8:30 am;   Hikers: 9:00 am
Finish: Mountain Theater
Route: Take the famous Dipsea Trail up to Cardiac Hill. Take Old Mine Trail East to Pantoll. Cross the Panoramic Highway. Continue on Old Mine Trail to the Mountain Theater.
Total Distance: 7.1 miles
Aid Stations: Muir Woods/Creek Crossing and between Cardiac Hill and the Pantoll Station at the Corporation Yard.


Directions and Parking

From 101 take the E. Blithesdale Ave exit all the way into downtown Mill Valley, approximately 1.5 miles from the exit. Just before, you will bear left at a stop sign at the intersection of E. Blithedale and Throckmorton, proceed left down into Mill Valley and continue to bear left as you proceed out of the downtown area onto Throckmorton Avenue. You will then go approximately 3 blocks to another stop sign and on your left will be Old Mill Park, which is the staging area for the event.

There will be parking available on your right in the Old Mill School yard as well as on any of the adjacent streets.

Participants should arrange for a ride back from the Mountain Play Theater. Parking areas near the Mountain Play Theater include Rock Springs and Quarry (100 cars each) and Trogen (35 cars). Limited shuttles will also be available.
