Put Breast Cancer on the Map!

Community Workshops to Map Possible Environmental Causes of Breast Cancer in Marin

Marin Breast Cancer Watch, in collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California at San Francisco, is hosting a series of community workshops designed to generate ideas about possible links between breast cancer and environmental factors. The workshops are part of a new research study being conducted in Marin, which is looking at possible environmental links to breast cancer. Participants will complete a brief survey and create a map that identifies past and present exposures to possible environmental hazards.
