My association with the nonprofit world began when I moved to
Northern California shortly after graduate school and I worked for
SF MOMA.
My husband and I moved to Marin in early 1979. Over the years
in Marin, my primary connection to the community has been through
my daughter Ashley’s schools. During my tenure of six years
on the Board of Marin Horizon School, I gained exposure to the
intricacies of school operations. I became increasingly enamored
with the educational process from the administrative viewpoint,
and followed Ashley to Marin Academy. This is my seventh year
working in the admissions office of MA.
I look forward to giving back to my community in a new way now
as a member of Zero Breast Cancer’s Board. With my experience
working with boards and in the local community, I hope to make a
small contribution towards achieving Zero Breast Cancer’s
goals.
